A shipmaster who worked the Redwood Coast, along California and Oregon, of the United States of America.
He resided in Curry coumty, Oregon.
From 1884 – 1885, he commanded the Humboldt a wooden steam schooner.
In 1897, he commanded the Homer a wooden steam schooner. She was built in 1891 by Reed Shipbuilding Company.
