Did you know that glass can be recycled?

This means more than drink bottles. These can be sorted by color and brought to your local recycling facility. Clean the bottle and soak off the label and glue. This provides the best cleanest return. However if the facility relies on the label to return the bottle then check with them as to how they want the bottles prepared.

Jars with twist on caps i.e. baby food jars, pasta sauce, fruit containers. These have a recycle pyramid with a number 1 or 2 means they can be recycled. It depends on what the facility will accept.
