Rabbit! – Animals that I have met

From a speech I won second in humorous speech for toastmaster’s. Thus is a true story, written humorously for that event, and it does have its comedic elements.

As an archaeologist in South Dakota we would commute to Wyoming and walk for hours crisscrossing across the borders of Wyoming and Montana. The terrain is sagebrush Forests and mild slopes. This particular day, I was teamed up with a colleague whose job was to walk with ne parallel in the right of way for a construction project of a road though a cattle ranch. Now, a ew terms I will use need to be defined before I get much further.
