Your Girl Friday International

While I worked as a night janitor for a marine park one summer I met a dolphin. I was required to walk to the opposite side of the to gt to where I needed to clean. My partner needed to reload his cart so I said I would meet him there. I said, I suppose if I cut through the dolphin aquarium to cut my walk time. Lewis an elderly man would share nuggets of wisdom from time to time. This particular night was no different.

“You know them dolphins can be jerks, they think they better than us. And how they get treated here, they think they are God’s gift to the earth.”

I smiled and nodded in agreement. I wondered how he had gotten that opinion.
