A story that starts with Rhuba a psychic girl who awakens from a disturbing dream. It shows her the end of their beloved world. She lives in her ancestral cave at the edge of the lake, pictured on the cover. She journeys forth to find her friends to share her knowledge and to see if they knew of impending doom. She catches up with her friends and they all decide to visit Davian a dark wizard who would have a better insight. He does as he works with forces that are beyond the world, and they too have already told him of the quest that they must embark upon. All of their talents, willpower and knowledge will be tested as they leave their beloved valley and enter the fantastical world of Archaya.
