I have two pendulums. One is made of Jade and acorn shaped with a long silver chain. The other one I have is made of onyx with silver specks and a silver chain. When I have a simple question I pick up whichever is closer to ne. I hold my arm out with my palm downward. Then I slide the end of the chain between my middle finger and my index finger.
