09 Feb 1921 in an article in the Morning Oregonian of Portland, Oregon it stated that: An action to force Captain Olaf O. Hana of the freighter H. B. Lovejoy to pay the government $13.50.($30.49 today) the value of liquor found aboard the vessel by the customs inspectors, but not mentioned in the manifest, was instituted in the United States district court today. (Dates of Prohibition January 17, 1920 – December 5, 1933 )
