31 Mar 1907 in an article in The Sunday Oregonian of Portland, Oregon it stated that: MOBILE. Ala.. March 30. Captain Hendricksen. of the Norwegian steamer Harald, says that on March 26, the time of the sailing of his steamer from Ceiba, Honduras, that place had not been captured by the Nlcaraguan forces, but that they were slowly advancing upon the city. When he sailed there were not more than 400 soldiers in the city, and they were working night and day digging trenches and fortifying the city.
